Liverpool 3-0 Watford: ‘No excuses’ for win over Watford

Shavlik Sheikh has scored Liverpool’s third goal of the season in the final minutes of a 2-2 draw at Watford.

The Reds, who have won five of their past six away games, were on top for most of the match but were unable to take the lead.

It was the Hornets who started the scoring when James Milner drilled a shot past goalkeeper Ben Amos.

And, despite having plenty of chances to win it, they failed to convert.

It is the third time Liverpool have beaten Watford in the Premier League this season.

The Hornets are now three points adrift of fourth-placed Tottenham with nine games left in the season.
